Gippsland Grammar School for Young Witches

In early 2010, Mr. Monty P. Hython, the head of the Australian Ministry of Magic, realized there was a need for a new form of education within the country. A forward thinking wizard, Mr. Hython put together a committees in each state of likeminded individuals who were known for getting things done. This committee included individuals from both the wizarding and the Muggle worlds. In the case of Victoria, one of these committee members was Mr. Robert Ashton, representing Muggles United. The results of the committees' research and work resulted in schools being established in each of Australia's states. The Victoria school was Gippsland Grammar School for Young Witches, located thirty minutes from Drouin.
The goal of Gippsland Grammar School for Young Witches, as well as the other newly established schools, is to provide a well-rounded education for today's young witches. Classes are conducted on an 'as needed' or 'as requested' basis, depending on the various students interests and future goals. Enrollment is small to allow for a smaller teacher to student ratio which provides a more personalized and tailored course load for each student.
