More and More Wizards today are becoming aware of the Muggle World Around Them.
While Some factions such as The Right Blood firmly resist changes away from Pure only there are more opportunities then ever for a Wizard or Witch to chose to make a life in the Muggle World (and even vice versa) as while the agreement between Warner Brother's Pictures and WWBN brings the Magical World to the Eyes of Muggles for the first time, other organizations such as Muggles United are campaigning to bring greater rights for non-Magical people to vote, work and study in the magical world.

With the 12th Anniversary of the Battle of Hogwarts due in 2012 it is the continuing uneasy balance between two words colliding like never before that drives the politics of the modern magical world while making it never a better time to be a Muggle or Wizard.

That's not to say the Wizarding World is without threats. Fashion, Magical Atrophy, Loss of Habits and the extinction of Magical Creatures, Wars, Disasters and Terrorism spilling over from the Muggle World from a population peaked at 3 Billion Wizards against 900 Billion Muggles have forced every wizard and witch to re-think just what it means to be a Witch or Wizard when even the UK Minister of Magic publicly stating that 'Justin Bieber is quite possibly the Biggest Threat to the Wizarding World Today'.

The world is getting smaller and with Muggle Technology advancing to a point where the entire globe is mapped, CCTV records everything and any Muggle could be armed with a camera phone keeping the Statue of Secrecy has never been harder. While at the same time Muggles dress and play Wizards while reciting the names of famous wizards of history, completely unaware that the 'fiction' is very much 'fact'. There's no doubt that it's a strange, yet exciting time to live in.
