Wizards Without Boundaries, a World full of Opportunity:
A Paid Advert on behalf of the Wizard Tourism Trust.
A Paid Advert on behalf of the Wizard Tourism Trust.
Education, the Heart of Securing a Bright Future in this Modern Age....
Students of all ages will find themselves right at home (or on the adventure of a life time) studying at Gippsland Grammar School for Girls in Australia, Accademia Magica di Italia the Premier Wizard Boys School of Italy and even Tenkō School of Magical Arts in Japan, a school unique in the world for offering a complete education from age 5 right though to post-graduate study.
Talking about graduates, there's no better way to kickstart your career then to take further study at the Group of Four:
Study in England at Oxford University, the School of Magic (OUSM) department has existed almost longer then the university itself. You'll need the best grades but with a degree from OUSM there's no limits to where it can take you.
For those looking for a more flexible option the Australian University of Magic (AUM) provides the worlds best OWL-ED Correspondence Course Programs where you can learn at your own pace from anywhere in the world.
Not for you? Want to push the very limits of Magic and go where no Wizard has gone Before? Welcome to America's National Magic Advanced Technology Institute (NMAT) where the very limits of magic are not only prodded but thoroughly poked and pushed further every year by the brains at NMAT.
Or Maybe, your rather express yourself?
At The New York Conservatory of Musicary and Magical Arts students can work to perform magic though the creative realms of music, dance, visual arts and performance with world renowned tutors and experienced performers sharing their craft with the next generation of wizards and witches.
All Schools offer broad internships, transfer, scholarships and exchange programs to ensure each Witch or Wizard is offered the best chance to broaden their horizons.
The Media, Telling the Stories that keeps the whole world talking...
Love it or loath it there's no question the modern magical world is addicted to WWBN.
From The Cherry Clinger Show right to Dunena's Weird Weird World. The Wizards Wireless Broadcast Network Provides complete coverage of News, Sport and Entertainment over it's radio and moving pictures (some might even call it 'television') network. Founded in Toronto Canada (for tax reasons) there's no doubt New York is where it's hopping for anyone wanting to get into the media today.
That's not to say the press is at an end, far from it with The Global Voice, the worlds first 50/50 Magical and Muggle Newspaper uncovering the big stories in and outside of the magical world with offices all over the globe from England to Darfur bringing up to the minute news and analysis of all the big stories.
Werk! A newcomer to the wizarding world Werk! provided by Woozle is a online communications platform for Wizards and Muggles to share messages that are 128 characters or less. Often picking up stories ahead of the major news sources there's no question that Werk is where cutting edge happens while waiting for the rest of the Wizarding world to catch up.
Politics, Factions, Organizations, Purity and Combining With the Muggle World...
More and More Wizards today are becoming aware of the Muggle World Around Them.
While Some factions such as The Right Blood firmly resist changes away from Pure only there are more opportunities then ever for a Wizard or Witch to chose to make a life in the Muggle World (and even vice versa) as while the agreement between Warner Brother's Pictures and WWBN brings the Magical World to the Eyes of Muggles for the first time, other organizations such as Muggles United are campaigning to bring greater rights for non-Magical people to vote, work and study in the magical world.
With the 12th Anniversary of the Battle of Hogwarts due in 2012 it is the continuing uneasy balance between two words colliding like never before that drives the politics of the modern magical world while making it never a better time to be a Muggle or Wizard.
That's not to say the Wizarding World is without threats. Fashion, Magical Atrophy, Loss of Habits and the extinction of Magical Creatures, Wars, Disasters and Terrorism spilling over from the Muggle World from a population peaked at 3 Billion Wizards against 900 Billion Muggles have forced every wizard and witch to re-think just what it means to be a Witch or Wizard when even the UK Minister of Magic publicly stating that 'Justin Bieber is quite possibly the Biggest Threat to the Wizarding World Today'.
The world is getting smaller and with Muggle Technology advancing to a point where the entire globe is mapped, CCTV records everything and any Muggle could be armed with a camera phone keeping the Statue of Secrecy has never been harder. While at the same time Muggles dress and play Wizards while reciting the names of famous wizards of history, completely unaware that the 'fiction' is very much 'fact'. There's no doubt that it's a strange, yet exciting time to live in.
Live, Travel, Volunteer and Explore Unique Experiences in Amazing Locations...
Forget the tired old castles, while Hogwarts may well be the most famous of locations The Wizarding World is far larger then one school.
From the Wizards Without Borders volunteers bringing healers and aid to the Third World and Disaster Effected Regions and The World Magical Wildlife Foundation working to save rare Dragons and magical creatures from Extinction, right up to Woozle taking the Wizarding World Online, Magic can be found in every country with Magical Population 'hotspots' in regions as diverse as England, Italy, Japan, China, The United States, Australia, Canada, Russia, Greece, Africa and more.
Thanks to the International Portkey Authority, Cross-Continental Floo Network, and Vanishing Cabinet Transit System international travel has never been easier.. or safer. No longer do Wizards and Witches have to risk life and limb with cross-continental Apperation and broomflights, simply drop into a Magical Travel Agent and let them organize all the relevant Visas and Travel Information. While in the early days a Wizard or Witch might only travel as far as the next village, many Wizards and Witches today are making the most of it to explore the world, whether a holiday, a business trip or for study, the world is yours for the taking.
Big Business, Fortunes, Fame and High Fliers:
I know what your thinking, your wondering that 'this is all well and nice to be volunteering to save cutesy little kids but what about profit??'
We'll here's a little secret, by opening your doors to Wizards and Muggles alike 9 out of 10 businesses have found their incomes skyrocket*. While some might find the quiet life of working at a corner shop or becoming a teacher to the next generation of young Witches and Wizards fulfilling, with the right ambition there is no limit to the heights your career can reach. Take up the challenge of bringing your company to the global stage. Become the CEO of a major Wizard or Muggle Organization or climb the Political Ladder, who knows you could be looking at the next Minister of Magic.
From music and entertainment, education, sport and politics right to big business and more to whatever path you chose to take there will always be room to grow and take on new challenges in a dynamic and immerse world.
