Dear Mr Harper, Thank you for your submission regarding the sitting of Wizards' Ordinary Magic and Basic Aptitude Test (W.O.M.B.A.T) exam. Having attended to your file our details on record have your blood status recorded as a Muggle. While the 1998 ruling regarding the equal opportunity of Muggles within the Magical Ministry does attest that you are full in your rights to apply I must however share that it is the view of the Wizarding Examinations Authority that Muggles such as yourself would be unable to achieve a pass in this test due to their lack of inner knowledge into the Magical World. If you do however wish to take the Level One W.O.M.B.A.T exam you will be required to attend the American Ministry of Magic, Magical Education Department, Room 32^3 Floor 12 1/2 just down from the large pond with the ducks in it. The exam will take approximately twenty-five minutes or longer if you are particularly slow at reading, you will be assigned a desk, parchment and quill for which we charge the standard rate of 5 Galleons to cover all materials, your certificate (if you do pass) and processing. This Grade One Exam will cover the basics of Magical Law and the Natural World and will be at 11am(GMT) on November 16th. If successful you will receive your certificate by Owl, or a letter informing you of how you have failed. In the event of you deciding you have better things to do then waste the departments time please inform us by no later then 5pm(GMT) on November 15th so we can save the bother. Signed. Y. Hämäläinen on behalf of the Wizarding Examinations Authority Department of Magical Education. |
