Update from the 2012 WWBN Election Newsroom...
Polls closed just minutes ago but with the expertise of the finest countermonkey's have projected a landslide win for former WWBN Mad Mad World Host Dunena Reid.
Exit poll results give a strong 80% majority result for the newcomer with some even choosing to vote for exotic animals then give a vote to Frump in what has to be his worst result ever.
You heard it here first, Dunena Reid is the new American Minister for Magic!

20120116
So it's been a nice QUIET start to the year, what with Dunena in rehab and "Q" struck down with the Flu (but thankfully getting better now!) it's been a return to the important things in life starting with the return of the academic results for Gippsland Grammar Students with a big Congratulations to Storm for her Perfect O grade. I hear December was a good time for Romance from the Engagement of Gerard Hunter and Tiffany Fumberger (Don't forget to let us know when you set the date!) so the question will be who will make it first down the aisle.. Gerard and Tiff or Marcus and Rowan.. or......... one of the others?? Who Knows!! So apart from weddings this year also marks a couple of very important dates on the Wizarding World Calendar, The 2012 Wizarding World Games to be held in London alongside the Olympics (How else to excuse so many strange people coming and going?) will bring the best of the Quidditch world out to play for their nation. and of course this year brings the American Magical elections, will Ronald Frump survive another term? Or will he set his sights for the Muggle Politics instead? 2012 will of course mean the 2nd Part of Pirates of WWBN - At Honey's End. The Epicly Silly Pirates Thread where Anything, and usually Everything happens. and last but not least is our birthday on 10 Apr 2012 to mark the first full year of operations! However if there is one thing we learnt in 2011 it's that the best events are often run by YOU, whether pre-arrenged or spur of the moment you never know when a one-liner or random chance will bring. Looking back on 2011 I'm utterly baffled by the quality of the roleplaying, the ideas, vision and originality you've all brought to the world. To celebrate 2011 came with a full round up of the movers and shakers in politics and media, but it's also the 'Little Characters' who have made the site who it is, the ones who arn't famous and yet continue to have amazing posts and stories that don't require a big deal to be made about them. Characters like Chloe Hobson, Sebastian Swanson, Polly O'Brien and lots more! It takes bravery and courage to be part of something new, and while of course we have a lot to work towards improving in 2012 the fact that we've made it this far is proof that we'll be here again in 2013 Well okay, unless Dunena Reid's end of the world predictions turn out to be true! In the meantime here's a fun quiz "Q" found which has turned out to be scary accurate in many occasions (well okay except for calling Tamika nice) and don't forget the Thread Masterlist where you can look over everything that's happened since Wizards Without Boundaries begun.
