9 1/4 DOWNING STREET LONDON SWIA 2AA THE MINISTER FOR MAGIC 23 September 2012 Dear Mr Martian Harper, No doubt it is with some confusion that you receive this brief note, forgive me a moment to introduce myself for while I have been informed that you have taken it upon yourself to be enlightened to the world as it truly is there is still no doubt many aspects that are hithrow new and unexplored. My name as it was unfortunately bestowed on me by my most precious mother is Clevon Brasher and while no doubt my name is unfamiliar I have the honor to be currently serving the great people of Britain as the Minister for Magic to these fine lands. Do not worry yourself unnecessarily that I do wish harm to yourself or others I had simply implored a Miss Fifi LaRoux (who is of course a most charming associate known to you and I alike) to offer invitation to a little gathering to enjoy the Wizarding World Games for after hearing of how you have come to be quite important to our dear Miss Fifi it was in my mind ungentlemanly if one did not at least make a passing effort to get to know this knight in shining armor so to speak - or so was my thoughts to this matter at the time. While I do not know what had become of my invitation it is with some concern to know that Miss LaRoux did not honor my wishes and so I was left to see in the celebrations alone. Well as alone as one can be with the entire nation at beck and call of course! Never the less there are important matters at hand that require both a delicate and personal touch. I have had communications with my collage a Mr Dominic Benoit and we both believe that it would be best for all if you would submit to coming to England for a short interval in order to ensure a satisfactory outcome for the welfare of our young lady friend. In addition there are also some matters of personal interest that I'm sure you would find well worth the inconvenience. Please do not think that one expects you to just 'drop everything' as the Muggle saying goes but if you do find yourself able I have arranged for accommodation at The Langham and my New York head of staff a Miss Potts will arrange you're luggage and flights. I am unsure if a Muggle like yourself would be able to take the International Floo but by all means do ask Miss Potts if you would wish to give it a try. There will no doubt be someone willing to accompany you on your journey as we could hardly send a Muggle in the Floo by himself ho hum. Yes who is it?
