Understanding Visa's :
Because International Travel is so common in both Magical and Muggle Communities it's only natural that a system was put in place to keep track of where people are.
For this reason the world was broken up into 5 Regions - Europe, Australia/Asia-Pacific, Asia, The America's and Africa/Other.
Of course in typical convoluted style the Magical World and Muggle World both insisted on their own registering bodies and so people with magical blood carry a Magical Visa, and Muggles can only get a Muggle one.
Characters can of course travel outside of their region by applying for additional visa's, this is encouraged and most will hold more then one Visa during their time.
In addition there are 3 International Visa's types on the board for special use:
Exchange Students - Covers Students on Approved Foreign Exchange though school programs.
WWB Volunteer and Worker - For Wizards Without Border's Members.
Muggles and Unqualified Wizards are given Volunteer Visa's while Worker Visa's are reserved for fully qualified Healers.
Ministry Of Magic - Ministry of Magic International Working Visa - For Ministry of Magic Employee's that work or often travel overseas.
Some regions of the world have open borders agreement allowing easy movement of Wizards and Witches You will find a listing here.
Australia & Europe - Open Borders exist between Australia, New Zealand, England, Wales, Ireland and Scotland.
When Applying for a Visa look for the one that suits where your character is moving to, if they for whatever reason travel often or are employed by WWB or MOM then they should have a International Visa
