[Ianto Parker]

Ianto was sat at a corner table on what was maybe his tenth cup of coffee for this trip to the Cafe Ianto was spending a lot of time at the Bluebird Cafe since Tamika had taken up residence at his house it was bad enough that he had to avoided her all the time she was changing everything taking his room and now he had to magically expand his home to include another room for the for seeable future till she decided to leave after getting bored with her new game of annoy Ianto.
Ianto could not even bring home his new friend he meet at the rainbow room as his sister was at his home why is it when he just starts to find him self he can't do any thing about it.
really he was just horny and wanted to finally get the last few years of pent up need out of his system had been 6 years since Logan and now he was Kinda Out of the closet he wanted to get to know himself and what he wanted not what they said he wanted all his life. Not a marriage or family just freedom to love to be love to be himself and to make him self happy and having a man would make him happy to spend time being him self like when he had gone to the beer feasible just hanging around with Muggles was so much more interesting than he would have thought.
It was getting late and at some point he bought that he may have to go home and face HER. Ianto wander how much longer he could sit here with his coffee before he would again have to buy something. Ianto was thinking of the Pudding that sauced itself. it sounded interesting since Muggles have no magic How the pudding could make sauce out of itself.
It was as he bought this some one approached the table Hopefully to top up his coffee.
Ianto picked up his cup and drank the last of the coffee and waited.

James was slightly frustrated. Things were fine at home. They boys were growing quickly and had been showing signs that they would be doing quite well in magic once they went to Durmstrang. Jaydean had been busy with some of her activities but they had actually had a nice dinner the other night together and caught up on each other's news, as well as the warning Jaydean gave him that they would need to keep the second weekend of December open to attend a wedding together. James was grateful that Jaydean was so understanding and, in spite of the fact they had been forced to marry and were not in love that way, had become rather good friends.

Work was going great. In spite of the Muggle economic downturns, the wizarding economy in Sydney was still stable and their sales at Sydney Matacore had been staying steady. The coming Yule and Christmas seasons looked like they were going to be good. James had just hired on a new young lady that seemed to meet the Matacore Standards (as put forth by it's founder and CEO, Richard Hobson) quite well. He was sure she would work out fine.

No, James' frustration was in the recent activity in Melbourne thanks to Occupy Melbourne. He had been unable to move around and visit his usual hangouts there as frequently as he would have liked lately. Sure, no one in Muggle Melbourne knew him. However, the Muggle press was covering the protests quite heavily including photos and all James needed was to accidently end up in one. He could kiss his job and his status in the pure blood community all to hades, including their home in the gated community.

It was how he came to be in a coffee shop in Drouin this particular afternoon. He had been to Melbourne a bit ago just to check out the atmosphere and see if it would be possible to go out later. He had apparated to Drouin to wait a while before going back and attempting to meet someone later. Did we mention he was "frustrated"?

Entering the cafe, he spotted a lone man sitting at a table and while this might not have caused any reaction in James normally, meaning he'd have kept to himself, there seemed to be a feeling that right now, this guy might just be frustrated more than James and could use a good friend. Shrugging, James headed his way and figured it would keep his mind off waiting for now. "Hey, mind if I join you? Look like you could use company?" James asked the guy before sitting down opposite him at the table. As he sat, James had to admit that the view across from him wasn't all that bad. "Name's James," he said, offering his hand to shake.

Ianto was quite surprised at the man that was now sitting across from him it was rare for any one to just walk up to him and start talking Ianto knew he come of just a little wired in the Muggle world.
"Umm Hi sure" the man introduced him self James
"Ianto" Ianto extended his hand to shake it.
Ianto was looking over the man in front of him and found him really attractive But decided to say nothing.
"Umm your not from around here?" Ianto knew the answer already as most locals gave him a lot of space weather he wanted it or not that why he was making more trip to melbourne these days or sitting alone in the cafe.
Ianto singled to the wait staff and waited as they approached
"coffee and would you like some thing?" Ianto decided to ask since he did not want to make the man hate him straight off.
Ianto was starting to feel just a little uncomftble with the way his body was reacting to the handsome man sitting across from him He was definitely out and really need to get control of himself.

Shaking hands with the man, James nodded, "Good to meet you, Ianto," he replied. "Unusual name, that," he commented as well, "Like the sound of it, very old style." At Ianto's question, he shook his head. "No. I'm in from Sydney. Have some business in Melbourne later but was rather early so figured I'd take a break. before continuing on."

As Ianto asked if he wanted anything, the waitress walked over to take his order. "I'll have a triple shot mocha latte and a croissant, please," James ordered, tendering the cash and noticing Ianto's coffee was low, "And a refill for my friend. Thank you." Once the girl had left, James turned his attention back to the man across from him. Taking a few moments to look over Ianto, James was not displeased with what he saw. However, there was no way to know for sure whether it was worth expressing interest since this was not the Rainbow but a simple coffee shop. He reminded himself that it was not the reason he choose to sit there either.

So it was, he asked Ianto, "You looked a bit... Troubled? Everything okay?"

"Umm yep old name, family name and it welsh it like john over there" Ianto advised that man The man had business in melbourne he was a bit out of the way.
"Yep melbourne a bit crazy at the moment isn't it been staying clear as much as posable me self" Ianto waited as the james placed his order for what was in Ianto's a very strong latte. Ianto noted that the waitress gave him a strange look when james had called him his friend as she like all the locals knew ianto did really have friends just a crazy sister.
Is he checking me out Ianto was sure hat this guy was well checking him out in a more than a straight guy way.
But nah why would a guy any guy check me out. not any one that attractive Ianto was becoming a little self conches he ran his hand thro his hair
Ianto fouces on what the man was saying
"Am i that obvious, Family stuff they don't like my 'way 'of life" Ianto decided to be some what Vage but it ad come of a vage as he had hoped. but i am telling the truth his sister hates his mugginess and that he was kinda well totally gay.

"Got to love family" Ianto said in a lest than loving way as the coffee's arrived.

"Ah," James replied. "I thought I heard a different accent. Ianto is such a classic sounding name, compared to just plain 'John'," James commented. "How long have you been here in Australia?" The odd look of the waitress as he ordered for himself and Ianto was not lost on James. Seemed like the man might be a bit lonely? Of course, James was not going to come out and ask that but just see where the conversation led. Maybe that was why he had appeared to be a bit down when James entered the coffee shop.

However, as Ianto began to open up, James shook his head and told him, "It wasn't totally obvious, just that you seemed a bit sad over something, lonely sort of looking. Too nice a day to be down," James said, indicating the world outside the window. Nor did James miss the reason he was having family 'stuff'. While 'way of life' could mean many things, it could mean something more specific as well. But first, to help the man's mood improve. "Family can be 'interesting'," James admitted in a way that said he understood from going through things himself, waiting till their orders were set down before continuing. "Yet, sometimes, we'd be lost without them. Anything in particular? or just everything and anything?"

Ianto was quite shock that the man was still sitting across from him no one ever stay that long around Ianto even when he was in a Good mood. Ianto Had to rack his brain to remember How long he had been in australia he Had travel so much since he had left whales and his family. He guess he had really ran from them so as they might never find out how he felt about men and now he stay away because he was this half blood freak.
" been in australia must be a least 2 years now. wow time flies" Ianto said
"My parents are traditionalist from a very long line of them and don't like any one to deviate from it even if it makes the person live in misery for there whole life." Ianto was finally talking about some of the things that had changed him in the last few weeks.
"I mean I didn't choose to be this way it just the way It not like i can flick a switch and turn off who I am, I don't fit in with there kind any more but, the won't listen, my sister wants me to come home to whales' and settle down" Ianto sighed as he finished the comment.
"Look at me telling you of my problem just because you had the unlucky happen stance to sit down at this table. I am so sorry to burden you with my unhappy life. I mean i made the chose to come out now i Have to live with it" Ianto was well aware that Tamika would have told father of his new life style choices Both of them the Muggle loving and Being a gay man.
"So what business are you in town for?" Ianto Gave a friendly smile to James feeling as if he had had a great weight lifted. May be telling some one other than his sister was just what he need to make him feel better.

Oh could James understand 'traditionalists', at least over somethings. After all, he was one but then he had his own little secret that other 'traditionalists', or elitists as they wizarding world would refer to them, would be rather offended at. Once again, James gave a silent thanks to the gods in power that his arranged marriage had worked out so well. Who'd have thought she'd end up being like the sister he never had to him and help him keep his secret. They made a good team and James was quite content to let his wife have her fun and hobbies.

However, as Ianto began to open up about what had made him seem so sad, James was beginning to sense a kindred spirit. Especially when it got to those two words 'come out'. So, maybe he did not have to go to the bars in Melbourne after all? He smiled gently at Ianto. "I don't mind hearing your problems. Really, it's sort of a similiar problem with family for me. I just keep it quiet or there will be major problems for some that I really don't want to see hurt." Like his wife and sons. They would not deserve it. Okay, and the fact he'd probably be unemployed, too. At Ianto's question, James reached over and covered Ianto's hand, patting it in such a way that to others looking over, he might have been comforting a depressed friend. "Oh just finding a like minded soul. "

Ianto was quite sure that this guy was coming on to him in a way that said i'm Gay but in the closet way.

"Really" Ianto said in an almost shocked voice before he regained his composer and spoke again. Ianto looked down at the now joined hands
"I Thought ... I mean that yes i think so" Ianto said as he looked up to meet James eyes his very lovely brown eyes they were to tho ianto just realised how the last part really didn't make cents
"I never thought that like minded types meet in coffee shops in drouin i mean who would have thought" Ianto decided to rub his thumb across this companions hand to test the waters of this man cryptic way of telling him he was interested.
"so family is in sydney?" Ianto asked just to make sure no chance of mrs cute brown eyes did walk in and drag him away be for ianto could get a number or something.
Ianto also did want to blow his cover of being straight by just giving him his number if he had people from his life that didn't know he was well so coming on to him.

James was now sure that Ianto meant exactly what he thought the man had meant by 'coming out' and smiled, nodding. "Really," he told him, grinning a bit a the comments that followed from the surprised young man. "Well, honestly, neither did I. I really was just finding a way to kill some time before going to Melbourne and finding someone to pass the time with," James admitted. He felt Ianto's thumb rub against his skin and liked the feeling it gave him. He returned the gesture before giving the hand a quick squeeze and pulling his back so it would appear like just a reassuring friend to others. After all, this was a coffee shop in Drouin and not the Rainbow in Melbourne.

At Ianto's question, which James was quick to realize was asked not just as conversation but as self-preservation on the other man's part, he nodded and smiled reassuringly. "Yes. And this sister of yours? She lives around here?" Maybe if he was even luckier, they could go back to Ianto's house. If not, well there was no reason he couldn't treat the man to a trip to Melbourne.

Ianto was about ready to jump out of his seat when James nodded and then went on to say bout passing time then he stroked Ianto's hand before pulling away. Ianto was sure that was to insure they did look to Gay.
"Killing time. I like the sound of that" Ianto commented back to the james as he said he was looking for some one to pass the time with. Ianto could help with that
Ianto sat waiting when the man asked about Tamika.
Dam she distorting his life
"yes she moved her self in to my house. Dam it" Ianto said in a low voice in a frustrated way. Ianto really did hate his family
"now you can see why i am so up set she all ways in they way" Ianto sat back in his chair in a melodramatic my life is over kinda way.
He was never getting laid. well maybe after tamika started he new job and was away working most day but not now
"sorry" was all ianto could now think to say as he now compdiplated his ever demising prospects maybe he would have to go home after all.

James nodded at the reply to his killing time suggestion. While the ideal answer to his question about Ianto's sister would have been that she lived a few towns over or not even in Victoria, he did not show any disappointment at the answer that she had now moved into Ianto's house. That just ruled out going there for now. "That's okay. It's a beautiful day and I'm sure we can find enough to occupy our time while we get to know one another," James told him with a smile. "There's a train to Melbourne in about an hour, want to visit the city?" he invited Ianto. "Well, unless you have other plans or have to be somewhere? Do you work tomorrow? I'll make sure we're back in time." Yes, even if he had to apparate or floo them, after all there were always memory spells he could use to make Muggles forget incidents like that.

Ianto sat across from james and listen as he said they could find something to Occupy there time and taking him in to melbourne.
"NO I can kinda make my own hours coming in to the school holidays" Ianto said " I happy to go on a trip today"
Tho ianto really never been on this train of witch James spoke off But how hard could it be. it a shame he's a Muggle or they just flop in to melbourne and go from there but this Muggle train could be a good place to talk.
"Um sure i can take the train" Ianto said with little conference.
Ianto really was not sure but was not going to let this opportunity slip By. "shell we go and get ticket"
